This is My Story

I was born in Smyrna Tennessee in 1955 in the hospital on the U.S. Air Force base where my father, Tech Sargent Philip C. Ziegler was stationed during the Korean conflict. Dad served and did at least one tour overseas as the crew chief to a general. Mom was from Long Island New York where we moved when Dad’s time in the air force was up. Dad went to work for Grumman Aircraft on the B-52 projects. After a time, we moved back to Wisconsin where he was raised, Fast forward to today I am married to married to Susan Novak, the mother of fallen soldier Adam Jacob Novak, and army veteran Logan Novak. Logan served in Afghanistan at the same time that his brother was Killed in action. My wife Susan has become my inspiration for this podcast. I n addition I have two daughters from a previous marriage with seven grandchildren. One of those grandchildren, another Logan joined the Illinois National Guard and has volunteered for a number of deployments including 16 months in Texas supporting the U.S. Border Patrol and currently is in Poland on a transport mission for Poland and surrounding Nato Countries. At just 23 he has already become a Sargent, and I could not be prouder. In addition, my nephew’s wife’s son is currently deployed in the U>SThe Free Website Guys 🚀
